How To Be A Social Media Super Hero

Some people seem to struggle with social media marketing while some seem to take to it naturally, effortlessly engaging with their audiences and attracting regular attention.

Those people seem to shine and manage to get noticed, shared, liked, and engage with an ever increasing audience.

So, how do they do it? And why do so many businesses seem to struggle, barely making an impact on social networks, and not gaining any leads or sales from their efforts?

Stick to these tips on How To Be A Social Media Super Hero and you should be well on your way:

1. Be Consistent

Consistency is the key if you want to become a super hero on social media. You need to post and share content consistently. There’s not much point in posting a load of stuff in one go and then nothing for a week, two weeks or even longer. A social media super hero posts high quality content throughout each day, every single day.

2. Be Generous

If you want to succeed you need to be generous. You should dedicate time to spend on your social networks to give tips and advice to your followers and you yourself as an industry expert, whatever it is you do. Don’t just spam your audience with sales posts or you’ll get nowhere fast. Have a good ratio of informational posts to call to action posts. Use the tried and test 80/20 Rule and you won’t go far wrong.

3. Stay Authentic

All influencers seem to have one thing in common – authenticity. The use a consistent tone of voice, to the point where their audiences feel like they know them personally. Being authentic will put your followers at easy and keep them coming back for more.

4. Be Positive

Being positive doesn’t mean being over the top. Be sure to be sincere, genuine and positive.

5. Listen

Like most successful leaders in business it’s important that you listen to your audience. You should listen to what it is they want, value their inputs, and respond accordingly.

6. Reward Your Audience

Why should somebody follow you or your business on a social network? Looks at what some of the biggest brands do on social media. They make it rewarding to follow them or be a fan. They value their audiences and reward them with exclusive content, freebies and special offers. Make yourself worth following.
